Severe Storms and Extreme Heat: A Dangerous Duo
The warm front arriving today will kick things off, with temperatures soaring to 90 degrees and above. The heat index will make it feel even hotter, reaching dangerous levels by tomorrow afternoon. And if that wasn't enough, scattered thunderstorms will add an extra layer of excitement to the mix.

The heat wave will continue for the next three days, with high temperatures in the 90s. This will officially make it the first heat wave of the year for Syracuse, and record-breaking temperatures are a very real possibility.
